Data from the PAN Foundation’s Center for Patient Research, shows that most patients have a strong interest in learning more about participating in clinical trials. Our data also shows that about two-thirds of LGBTQ+ individuals and more than half of people of color surveyed are interested in participating in clinical trials. All groups surveyed say the top reason why they have not already participated is because their healthcare providers have not mentioned or discussed clinical trials with them.

Patients want information about clinical trials, and you can help. As a healthcare professional, you have the opportunity to engage your patients in conversations about clinical trials, and a unique chance to engage patients from populations underrepresented in clinical research. The PAN Foundation offers these free tools and resources share with your patients, making it easier to talk about clinical trials.
