About the PAN Foundation

We want a future where everyone can get the healthcare they need.
As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the PAN Foundation’s mission is to accelerate access to affordable, equitable healthcare through financial assistance, advocacy, and education.
We help people all over the United States in three ways:
Financial assistance for healthcare
Through our patient financial assistance programs, we give people money to help pay for their out-of-pocket healthcare costs, such as medication copays at the pharmacy and health insurance premiums. You can apply for a grant through our copay funds, insurance premium funds, and transportation assistance. These are charitable gifts, not loans! Find your disease fund and see if you qualify.
Supporting healthcare policy that helps patients
We work to help lawmakers in Washington, D.C., understand how healthcare issues impact people and advocate for legislation that puts patients first. And we don’t do it alone—our partner organizations and people like you join us in advocacy every day. Learn how you can get involved.
Education about healthcare topics
We make education guides, like this website, about healthcare topics that can be hard to understand. Our goal is to help patients learn so they feel empowered to access healthcare, save money and get financial help, and make informed choices. We offer guides to Medicare, such as open enrollment and Medicare Part D plans, and many other topics. Browse our education hub.
